The other seems to be related to PvP balance, but there isnt a clear pattern beyond the choice, forcing players to decide which of 3 capabilities they want to keep. Using both Quickdraw and its Trickshot will cause you to delay Penetrating Rounds and Aimed Shot, though since those abilities have such long cooldowns, it takes a little while for you to delay them long enough for it to result in you missing out on an extra use of each of them and you arent actually losing DPS until this happens. Each use of Cool Head will allow you to use Charged Burst during 3-4 gaps instead of Flurry of Bolts, though you dont have to think about it like that, just use Cool Head when you get down to 45-50% Energy and only use Charged Burst for your gap GCD if youre above about 80% Energy. Be sure to take advantage of this proc whenever you have to use Below the Belt since it mitigates the DPS loss from having to spend a GCD to stun something. It also makes Dexterity-based skills like Stealth a viable choice, allowing you to also serve as your party's Scout. In case you were curious, the accuracy increase helps Gunslingers do better against some classes in PvP since accuracy over 100% reduces your opponents defense chance, though its still not a perfect counter. The typical rotation will look like this: Sometimes you have Burst Volley available, so the first cycle will look like this: Gap Priority(not applicable with Relentless Shots). In case you arent familiar, pushback is when the progress of your cast is pushed back as a result of taking damage. This is the only ability you should ever use when entering cover. The goal is for the initial 25 Energy to get you back up to the maximum Energy regeneration rate and supply you with enough Energy for your next GCD so you dont fall back into the lower regeneration rate bracket. From my testing, I was only able to apply it to 85-90% of Aimed Shots. Ranged DPS in general tend to have longer cooldowns on their interrupts, than Melee, so if theres something specific that needs repeated interrupting, a Melee DPS or tank will be assigned to it, though this doesnt mean you cant interrupt things as well. The formula for determining how much damage an AoE ability does per GCD such that it can be compared to single-target abilities is: (Damage Dealt/Number of GCDs) x Number of Enemies.
