Locomotives and cars came the same way. Unfortunately, most perks and comforts were removed by the 1960's as the public abandoned railroads were automobiles and airlines. As it continued expanding westward Jay Gould became involved during the fall of 1879 and subsequently leased it to the MP in 1881. -As it name implies, CTC offers safer and more efficient operations by centralizing dispatching in one location.
